Cut a Rug
This event was basically a big party to celebrate local culture and artistry as a part of the Tottenham Creates festival. We had dance performances from @PaalibaAbugre, spoken word from Tapiwa Mugweni, live graffiti from @Dave_gambo_tattoos, music from @ZetaKayDJ, food from @Blissful_kitchen and @millysbakesuk, and an open bar to keep everyone going till the evening. It was gorgeous for me personally to be with all these people from so many different parts of the Tottenham community and beyond, people I’d developed relationships with through various different projects and engagements all in a room together getting to know each other and sharing what they do.
