Painting Classes
For ten weeks I held free classes in painting with acrylic paint for all ages and abilities. The idea came about as a lead-on from the painting sessions I held during Create Week, where the reception was really positive and there seemed to be a desire for more of the same. I had also heard about a programme of local disability-friendly painting sessions which had been funded by local government and were very popular, but had been cut abruptly with nothing else put in place. And so it was really important that these sessions were wheelchair accessible and that all could participate in a drop-in fashion.
